Google Maps is trying to help people travel more safely as COVID-19 restrictions slowly lift.
Google's CEO says the app will now offer "coronavirus-related travel information," which includes things like how crowded a train or subway station may be, or locations of COVID-19 checkpoints near borders.
The feature uses data from the user's Google location history.
