A Tulsa man is recovering after someone shot into his apartment late Thursday night, police say.
The shooting happened at the Country Club Apartments near West Pine Street and the Tisdale Parkway.
According to officers, someone fired at least 11 rounds into the apartment hitting a man in the leg while three people were in the apartment including a child.
Sargent C. Jackson from the Tulsa Police Department said, "The rounds went through the back door and exited out the front door. So it was a high-powered rifle, possibly."
Police said the victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
Police that the victim and his family did not hear anything before the shooting.
When police searched the area they saw a car quickly driving away from the scene.
According to police, the victim is cooperating with their investigation, however, there is currently no good suspect description.
Police said it is still unclear if the individuals in the apartment were targeted directly.
