Tulsa Transit To Deny Boarding To Anyone Not Wearing A Mask

Starting on Monday, Tulsa Transit will be Denying anyone who tries to board without a mask.

Tulsa Transit's Authority Board of Trustees voted to approve the new policy.

Officials with Tulsa Transit said some riders haven not been compliant with the mask mandate that went into effect in July. They said masks will be provided by drivers if a rider needs one, while supplies are available.

Tulsa Transit officials plan to install plastic shields between bus drivers and passengers by 2021.
