Tulsa Police Arrest Man Accused Of Breaking Into YWCA

A man is in custody on Monday after Tulsa police say he broke into the YWCA near East 21st Street and South Memorial Drive on Sunday night. According to police, the alarms at the YWCA facility were set off around 10 p.m.

A man is in custody on Monday after Tulsa police say he broke into the YWCA near East 21st Street and South Memorial Drive on Sunday night.

According to police, the alarms at the YWCA facility were set off around 10 p.m.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found that the suspect, who they later identified as William Hudson, had appeared to break into the utility area of the building.

Police said that Hudson ran away from the scene into a nearby apartment complex.

Officers were eventually able to locate him using the help of the K9 unit and some people inside of the complex.

Hudson was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for second-degree burglary.
