Tulsa Man Accused Of Trying To Break Into House With Woman, Child Inside

Tulsa police have arrested a man they say tried to force his way into a woman's home.

Police say a woman told them she was in her apartment near 11th and Memorial with her 10-month-old baby when Alvin Basham tried to get into the apartment through a window. Police say they found Basham nearby with the window screens still in his shopping cart.

Basham is in the Tulsa County jail on complaints of first-degree burglary.
