Lane Shifts Begin On Highway 169 Near 46th Street North

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said various shifts in traffic are expected Friday at the junction of Highway 169 and 46th Street North. The area has been narrowed down to one lane in both directions for ongoing repairs.

Different lanes in the northbound and southbound lanes have been closed at different times after ODOT declared an emergency following February’s blast of winter weather. The narrowed lanes have caused headaches at peak times for drivers.

ODOT said the project should be finished by May but could finish earlier. They continue to ask everyone to remain vigilant when traveling through the area so crews working in the area do not get hurt.
