Crews Respond To Early Morning Natural Gas Line Break

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a natural gas line break on West 26th Street North between Tisdale Parkway and MLK Boulevard on Friday morning.

According to police, officers say a driver hit the gas line and abandoned their vehicle on scene, a passerby then called it in to the police.

Crews Oklahoma Natural Gas arrived on scene around 4:15 a.m. and were able to cap the leak.

Crews briefly closed West 26th Street North between Tisdale Parkway and MLK Boulevard to tend to the leak and it has since reopened.
