Man Shot, Killed After Attacking Homeowner, Tulsa Police Say

Tulsa Police said a man is dead after he was shot near 11th and Yale Thursday night.

Police said a homeowner saw the man stealing from his home and tried to keep him from leaving while he called 911.

Officers said that’s when the man attacked the homeowner with a piece of metal. They said the homeowner shot the man in the chest.

Police have not yet released his name.
