Tulsa police are searching for the person who they say shot and killed a man near Pine and Harvard.
According to police, the shooting happened around 12:20 a.m. on Monday morning. Police say officers were called to a neighborhood near Pine and Harvard by neighbors who said they heard gunshots. Tulsa police told News On 6 that officers were driving around the area and found a man lying in the road with at least one gunshot wound.
They say they tried to give him medical help on the scene before he was taken to the hospital, but he died on the way.
Officers say they are not sure if the victim was shot on Pine where he was found, or if it happened on another street and he was running for help.
About two blocks of pine near Florence were closed while investigators were on scene but the road has since reopened.
Police say they did not find any witnesses.
Police say officers do not know who they are searching for and do not have anyone in custody.
