A Claremore man is in the Rogers County jail on Monday morning after a robbery over the weekend.
According to police, David Hinds is facing three felony charges after police say he entered a man's home and then demanded money from him at gunpoint.
The victim told police that Hinds walked in through his front door armed with a gun. The victim added that his front door was unlocked at the time Hinds entered the home.
Police say Hinds pointed the gun at the homeowner wanting $100 in cash.
Officers say Hinds even loaded the gun at one point.
Police say the victim grabbed his wallet from another room and handed it over.
They say Hinds left the house in a truck, but did not get far.
Investigators say Verdigris police spotted Hinds shortly after, pulled him over and found the cash, a gun and ammunition inside his truck.
Hinds is facing charges of robbery, burglary and having a gun while committing a felony.
