Wokeeta 'Fuzzy' Hahn, Chili Bowl Nationals Co-Founder, Dies At 77

One of the legends of dirt-track racing has died.

Wokeeta Hahn, who everyone knew as "Fuzzy," died on Friday, October 1. Fuzzy and her husband Emmett, along with the Edwards family co-founded the Chili Bowl Nationals in 1987. The annual, indoor dirt-track race at the Tulsa Fairgrounds has run every year since then and always draws sell-out crowds for the finals.

Information on the Moore Funeral Home's website says Fuzzy's visitation is Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the home's Eastlawn chapel near 21st and Memorial.

The service will take place on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Faith Church in Glenpool.
