Muskogee High School Teacher Suspended Over Inappropriate Comments Toward Student

A Muskogee high school teacher has been suspended after the district says he made inappropriate comments toward one of his students.

The Oklahoma Board of Education suspended Timothy Van Etten's license last week. In a statement, the Muskogee Public Schools says Van Etten turned in his resignation in September, but the school board will not take action until the situation is thoroughly investigated.
