ORU is continuing its campus expansion with the groundbreaking of its new library.

School leaders say enrollment has steadily increased over the last 13 years, so expanding the campus is necessary. Administrators say this new project is going to better enhance the students' academic journeys. The library will have plenty of resources for students including new study areas, multi-media stations, and a state-of-the-art digital database.

The school's Holy Spirit Research Center will also be located inside the new library. Since 2015, ORU has built four new buildings and with a 10% surge in enrollment, the school says these new buildings come at the right time. Along with the library, the school is already building a new welcome center and is planning to build new Media Arts and Athletic centers.

The groundbreaking is set to start this afternoon at 12:15.
