Tulsa Police Says 1 Man Injured In Shooting, Condition Not Yet Known

Tulsa police responded to the scene of a shooting in a residential neighborhood Saturday morning.

The shooting happened just after 8 a.m. at a home near East 56th Street North and North Peoria Avenue.

Officers said they first responded to the scene due to a disturbance call from neighbors around 6:30 a.m. However, TPD left the scene after finding no crime had been committed.

When TPD responded to the shooting call after 8 a.m., they said they found a man who had been shot multiple times.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he is in surgery. His condition is not yet known at this time.

TPD has not released information on any potential suspects.
