Tulsa firefighters are working to determine the cause of a fire that broke out at a home near Pine and Yale on Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the home at around 4 a.m.
Crews say the only person that was inside of the house when the fire started was already out when they arrived.
District Chief Jeareld Edwards said there were two houses built into one, and a lot of the fire was in the first part of the house. Edwards said there was a lot of heavy smoke in both parts of the house.
Search teams did go inside to find a dog, they say that pet is expected to be alright.
According to investigators, three space heaters were being used inside and looked to be the cause of the fire.
Despite the freezing temperatures, crews did not have any problem with water lines when putting this fire out.
