A year-long construction project on 41st St., between Harvard and Lewis, is getting close to completion.

Work on the $5.6 million street project started last April, where crews have been making improvements to the stretch of road.

The street project includes a bus drop-off lane for Edison Junior High and High School.

Crews will also replace waterlines in the area.

Work is also being done on the 41st and Lewis intersection.

Traffic in this area has been affected for quite a while, with only one lane open in each direction.

Despite this, crews are still making progress.

The project is scheduled to wrap up in April of 2022.
