Okmulgee Police, OSBI Investigating Possible Embezzlement Tip In Connection To City's Mayor

Okmulgee police are asking for help from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation after a tip suggests the city's mayor involvement in embezzlement.

Police said a local business reported that a former property manager and minority owner of McCullough Building Owners, LLC embezzled more than $150,000 from the company.

Officers said the property manager was identified as Richard Larabee. Larabee is also Okmulgee's mayor.

Due to Larabee's city involvement, the police department asked the OSBI for assistance in its investigation.
