Firefighters Battle Early Morning House Fire In Sapulpa

Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in Sapulpa near State Highway 117 and Heywood Hill.

Crews were called to the scene around 3:15 a.m. on Thursday morning, according to officials.

Crews say a family lives in the home and as many as nine people were inside, but everyone made it out with no significant injuries.

Firefighters say one of the people who were inside had to be treated on the scene for smoke inhalation, but they did not have to go to the hospital.

Firefighters say the blaze could have started because of an electrical issue but the official cause is still under investigation.

The Red Cross was called out to help the family, according to officials.
