Victim Identified, Suspect In Custody After Body Found Behind Tulsa Business

The victim of a shooting has been identified and the suspect arrested after a body was found behind a Tulsa business on Sunday, according to Police.

TULSA, Okla. -

The victim of a shooting has been identified and the suspect arrested after a body was found behind a Tulsa business on Sunday, according to Police.

Investigators say, Garrett Cooper, 46, was found dead from gunshot wounds behind a building near S. Lewis Ave. and E. 69th St. Homicide detectives say, Steven Lee Gillis, 40, is accused of shooting Cooper on March 15 and leaving him at the scene.

TPD says Gillis has been arrested for first-degree murder. Police also arrested 36-year-old Ashley Abel, who detectives say is suspected of being an accessory.

Tulsa detectives say they believe all suspects in this care are in custody.
