Tulsa Police Look To Crack Down On Unlicensed, Uninsured Driving

Tulsa Police say they are seeing a lot of crashes involving drivers who are unlicensed or uninsured.

Police say they're towing cars to try to discourage unlicensed and uninsured driving.

"Who do you think is number one in uninsured motorists? Oklahoma. That's why we're doing this in Tulsa. It's not because we're heartless. It's because we have a problem and have to solve it," said Sgt. Benjamin Elliott from the Tulsa Police Department.

Officers say if you're involved in a collision and find out the driver is unlicensed, you should immediately call the police.
