Swiss Drone Research Lab, Osage Nation To Bring Drone Testing Site To Tulsa

A drone research lab from Switzerland is partnering with the Osage nation to bring a drone testing site to Tulsa.

WindShape says it will open its new headquarters at the Skyway 36 Droneport Center near the Osage Casino, north of downtown.

The company says it is creating eight labs with real-life weather simulations to test different drones on how they handle different climates.

WindShape says the facility will build on Oklahoma's aerospace industry to help Tulsa become a major player in the drone industry.
