Volunteers Finish Paint Project For North Tulsa Church

Volunteers finished re-painting the outside of a Tulsa church on Wednesday. It's the first time the church building has seen fresh paint in nearly 30 years.

Volunteers did Something Good for a Tulsa church on Wednesday.

Wesley Chapel serves families and the homeless population in Tulsa.

Volunteers finished re-painting the outside of the church they had been working on the past three weeks, and even brought pizza for folks there.

It's the first time the church building has seen fresh paint in nearly 30 years.

"Quite frankly we were stunned and it really blesses everybody that comes, that not only do they get love, but it's in a place that looks really nice," Rev. Chris Beach said.

Church leaders said it's just in time for their 10-week summer camp program, which hosts about 200 kids.
