US Marshals Arrest Suspect In Muskogee Homicide

The man accused of shooting and killing an 18-year-old in Muskogee is now in custody, according to the United States Marshals Service.

Marshals say Anthony Deon Fisher Jr, 19, was arrested in Oklahoma City Wednesday night after getting a lead on his location. Fisher is accused of shooting and killing James McNac III, 18, on September 7.

According to the Muskogee Police Department, McNac went to 1633 Center Lane to speak to people about a property dispute and was shot multiple times on the front porch of the residence. Police say Fisher was one of the people McNac had gone to see and lived at the home.

Fisher is being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center.

Police said they got a call about a shooting near the 1600 Block of Center Lane just after midnight on September 7. Officers found a male victim, later identified as James McNac III in that area. McNac was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

James McNac was one of two people killed in Muskogee on September 7. Coriyon Brown, 16, was also killed near Hayes Street in Muskogee but investigators have since determined that the two cases are not related.
