A man accused of leading Cleveland Police on a pursuit and pulling a weapon on officers over the weekend has been identified and booked into jail, authorities say.
Freddie Gaskey, 46, allegedly refused to stop during a traffic stop with CPD near Highway 64 and Airport Road at 1 a.m., according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
OSBI says Gaskey made a U-Turn and then came to a stop. Authorities say he pointed a firearm at them so they shot at Gaskey.
He was taken to a hospital and booked into the Pawnee County, it's unclear if he was shot. No police officers were injured in the shooting.
Gaskey is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm after felony conviction, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, felony attempting to elude, possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to signal turn and failure to stop at a stop sign.
