Tulsa Event Shares Ways To Fight Antisemitism, How It Impacts The Community

A Tulsa event is educating people on how antisemitism and hate are impacting the community and ways to fight it.

The Anti-Defamation League put on its "Fighting Hate for Good" presentation for free at Temple Israel near 21st and Lewis on Sunday.

The ADL is a nonprofit and says its mission is to stop defamation of the Jewish people, as well as securing justice and fair treatment for all.

"I'm hoping that people learn a little bit more about hate and extremism, the causes, what we're seeing, the trends so that we can better understand what's happening," said Senior Associative Director for ADL Texoma Leah White.

People are urged to report incidents of antisemitism and hate to the ADL.
