4 People Escape House Fire In Tulsa; 1 Pet Dies, 2 Pets Missing

Firefighters are on the scene of a fire near Charles Page Boulevard and the Gilcrease Expressway.

There were four people inside the house when the fire started and they were all able to get out and were not hurt, firefighters said.

The residents of the home said Tulsa firefighters arrived on the scene around 3:45 a.m. on Thursday.

They said they believe the fire started in their laundry room on the backside of the house. Firefighters have not confirmed that yet.

The fire did spread from the backside of the house to the camper in the back.

One dog died in the fire, and two cats are missing, according to the residents and firefighters.
