4 Inmates Overdose At Tulsa County Jail

Four people overdosed on some kind of substance at the Tulsa County Jail on Friday.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office confirmed that all four inmates are alive thanks to the response by jail staff, the Tulsa Fire Department, and EMSA. They said their Detention Officers and medical staff administered Narcan immediately. They said it is not yet known what the group overdosed on but that it was under investigation.

Andy Little with the Tulsa Fire Department said EMS officers were sent and fire engines were dispatched to the jail but have now returned to service.
