Pinspiration Tulsa Encourages Creativity With Splatter Room And More

First dates can be nerve-racking, so Pinspiration Tulsa is creating a date night atmosphere where couples can let loose this Valentine's Day.

It is called the Splatter Date Package and includes a private splatter room with the glow-in-the-dark painting experience, 1 large canvas, champagne, and a chocolate fondue platter.

"Going out to eat is the typical Valentine's date, but this is a shared experience, and it is really fun," said Michelle Bruns the owner of Pinspiration Tulsa.

The experience starts in the crafting area.

"We give them a canvas. They have the opportunity to prep it by painting a base coat, taping it off, or adding some adhesive shapes, so sometimes people do a heart or initials or a solid base coat, whatever you want to do, it is totally up to you," said Bruns

Then couples suit up in goggles, shower caps, booties, and coveralls to protect their clothing and it is time for some splatter paint fun.

"You get to create something together, take home a piece of artwork, and when you hang it on your wall, you have that memory," said Bruns.

Couples can also capture the moment in photographs. Bruns said the experience makes for a popular Valentine's Day date idea.

"We were very busy last Valentine's Day," she added. "We were pretty much back-to-back, so I would encourage people to go online or call right away to get a booking."

Pinspiration Tulsa is not just for couples, groups are also welcome. The Splatter Room is only one part of the business. It offers candle-making and DIY craft projects, too.
