Windows of at least two different downtown Tulsa businesses were shattered by vandals overnight, according to social media posts.

The Tulsa Foundation for Architecture and The Vault shared photos of the shattered windows at their locations near E. 7th St. and South Cincinnati Avenue on Saturday.

One photo shows a large window boarded up at The Vault with a sign that reads "We are open".

The Vault posted an image with a caption saying "We're open, we're all okay & thankful American Glass always has our back."

The shattered windows on Saturday is not the first time it's happened in Green Country recently, something the manager partner of Ike's Chili noted to News on 6 last month.

In February, the owner of Ike's Chili said someone threw a glass bottle through the front of his business along Route 66, shattering it.

“Just earlier this month we celebrated 10 years. There's been a lot happening to us here since we've been here, but in our old location over on Admiral, we had some of the same stuff. Doesn't matter what part of the city you go to,” said Ike's Chili managing partner Lin Wade.

In 2022, a Molotov was thrown into The Donut Hole on Brookside in Tulsa after hosting an event involving drag queens. It was the second act of vandalism on that store in as many weeks.

The Donut Hole held a celebration event at the end of 2023 after a Tulsa County judge sentenced the vandal, Coby Green, to five years in prison which was enhanced due to it being a hate crime.

The store made over 700 fresh donuts to hand out to the public to thank it for all of the support after the damages.
