Blaze Co-Working Studio, the first of its kind in the U.S., will officially open in Broken Arrow on Saturday, Oct. 12. It will provide a collaborative space for independent filmmakers and content creators.

The studio offers fully equipped rentals for video production, podcasting, and audio recording, along with private office spaces and co-working areas.

Blaze aims to provide a professional environment with high-end equipment, sound-treated studios, and community support, giving local creatives a place to meet with clients and bring their projects to life. The studio also offers events, training seminars, and exclusive member discounts to help artists thrive.

The idea for Blaze originated from studio owner Jordan Price’s own experiences. After opening his first studio in 2013, Price noticed the challenges filmmakers face when trying to find space to meet with clients or shoot projects. He saw a need for a physical space that would foster creativity and community within the local film industry.

Blaze offers three studio spaces designed to accommodate various creative needs:

  1. Studio A: An 825-square-foot video production space with 16-foot ceilings, a white cyc wall, and a NYC-style loft apartment set. It’s equipped with virtual production capabilities, professional lighting, and a full grip and electric package.
  2. Studio B: A 250-square-foot multipurpose space for podcasting, interviews, and green screen work. Studio B is equipped with podcast gear, cinema cameras, and virtual production options.
  3. Studio C: A small audio recording studio that doubles as a high-end color grading and finishing suite. Studio C is designed for voiceovers, music recording, and post-production work with 4K HDR monitors and professional audio equipment.

In addition to providing these spaces, Blaze offers filmmakers the ability to rent studio time by the hour or day. Filmmakers will need to bring their own camera and audio equipment. Different cameras, lenses, and audio kit rentals are available for an extra fee.

To celebrate the grand opening, Blaze will host an event for the local film community, featuring giveaways for production packages, studio rentals, podcast recording sessions, and memberships. Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit the Tulsa Boys' Home.
