Latimer County Woman Faces Murder-For-Hire Charge

A Latimer County woman is charged with trying to hire someone to murder her ex-husband.

Prosecutors said Courtney Deatherage was going to pay a family friend $500 to kill him. Investigators said she and her current husband even provided a shotfun to that friend for the crime.

Neither Deatherage’s current husband nor the would-be hitman are charged in this case.
