Two girls are making history at Broken Arrow High School.

Olivia Brown and Allison Hynes are the first girls at the school to sign letters of intent to wrestle in college. They both won state championships this year and are nationally ranked.

Brown signed to wrestle for Grand View University in Iowa and Hynes will wrestle for Central Methodist University in Missouri.

Hynes said she helped start the program and is excited for its future.

“I've watched this program and all these girls that have come into it. I've just watched them grow and fall in love with the sport just like I have, so I'm just super excited to see what happens,” Hynes said.
