New ‘Santa Fe Square’ Development Breaks Ground In Blue Dome District

Construction has started a new mixed-use development in the Blue Dome district.

Crews broke ground at the Santa Fe Square development Wednesday on Greenwood Avenue between 1st Street and 2nd Street downtown.

Developers said it will include retail space, a European-style plaza, apartments and a 12-story office tower.

“It’s really about turning the east side of downtown into a living, working 24/7 neighborhood,” developer Elliot Nelson said.

Tulsa-based law firm Hall Estill is the first confirmed tenant in the new development. Construction is scheduled to finish in 2023.
