TULSA, Oklahoma -

A big reason for the supply chain slowdowns across the country is from a lack of truck drivers to haul cargo to customers.

The shortfall of drivers is expected to grow, reaching 100,000 by 2023.

That's helping drive the industry's push toward an "autonomous" future and it may not be that far away.
