A Tulsa mother is launching a billboard campaign to get drivers to be careful on the roads.
Her son was killed last year while riding his motorcycle with his girlfriend. The billboard messages are in honor of Mitchell and Kennedy: a young couple killed in a motorcycle crash.

Mitchell’s mother hopes it urges people to look twice.
“It's been a difficult year riding the waves of grief," said Linda Rhodes.
Linda Rhodes said her son Mitchell Overton was a bright spot in her life, and everyone he met.
“He would do anything for anybody," Rhodes said. "He wanted to make sure everybody else was happy.”
Mitchell met his girlfriend Kennedy Behm at training for the US Army Reserve. Linda said they had plans to get married and settle down but that changed one year ago when a driver turning in Sand Springs hit and killed the couple on their motorcycle.
Linda said no charges were filed.
“To keep another family going through this is money well spent," Rhodes said.
Linda put up billboards that say, "Look Twice Saves Lives," will keep other families from dealing with the grief she's dealt with. There’s one up at 41st and Yale and one on Highway 97 over the Arkansas River in Sand Springs near the crash site.
“We came up with the 'Look Twice Saves Lives' campaign to remind people to look before you pull out at every situation," Rhodes said.
Mitchell and Kennedy were only 21 and 20 years old. Linda said she wants everyone to think of them, and look again, in honor of their lives that ended way too soon.
“Hug them a little longer, squeeze them a little tighter, let your family know how much you love them," she said.
Those billboard messages will be up for the rest of the month, and yard signs, t-shirts and bumper stickers are also in the works.
