Wind advisories and red flag warnings are in effect across parts of Oklahoma on Wednesday.
Officials are asking anyone who sees smoke or any signs of a fire to quickly call 911.
Currently, eight counties are under burn bans in the panhandle and southern parts of the state, but the risk is still severe in other areas of the state, specifically in Northern and Western Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Forestry Service says folks should postpone any outdoor burning, grilling or welding out of caution.
If you're towing trailers, make sure the chains aren't dragging and causing sparks.
The State Forestry Service will have crews and machinery ready to go in Guymon, Woodward, and Weatherford on Wednesday.
