Tulsa County prosecutors charged a man suspected of driving drunk in the wrong direction on Highway 75 in 2020 and slamming into another driver.

Troopers said Tyler Adams told first responders that he had been drinking and they learned he'd been drinking at a Tulsa bar, and then at a friend's house in Ramona before getting on the highway.

They say he crashed head-on with another driver near 106th street north and seriously injured the victim.

Both drivers were pinned in their vehicles.

The affidavit said Adams had two previous DUI arrests in 2018 and was driving with a revoked license.
