Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 10-Year-Old Girl Arrested By Rogers County Deputies

Deputies in Rogers County have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl.

According to deputies, the young girl had called her mother and told her that she had been sexually assaulted by 35-year-old Jordan Welch.

Deputies say the mother of the girl later found her daughter naked on the trampoline and Welch naked in a bedroom.

According to law enforcement, when they questioned Welch, he told them that he had been drinking and accused the victim of lying.

After placing Welch in handcuffs, he tried to run away. Deputies say they had to chase him down and tase him.

Welch was arrested on complaints of rape and escape after a felony arrest.
