A man accused of threatening to shoot up a church near 11th and Memorial is in custody, police say.

The Tulsa Police Department said officers someone reported it after talking to Ruben Marquez at a gas station on Feb. 3rd.

The witness reported Marquez said he had an automatic weapon and was going to use it to kill everyone inside the church.

Police said Marquez also had reports filed on him in January about making similar threats and blaming the church for breaking up his marriage.

Officers said they found a pistol and ammo in his home during a search and arrested him for threatening a violent act.
