Tulsa Man Shot In The Leg Overnight On North Boulder

Tulsa Police said they were called to a home on North Boulder Avenue around 11 p.m. and found a man shot in the leg.

Police said the victim is a man in his 20s and was rushed to the hospital. They said he is expected to survive.

Investigators said that two men who share children with a mother at the residence appear to have gotten into an argument. During that argument, one of the men shot the other. The police said that when they arrived, the only witnesses were several small children who were also in the home at the time of the shooting.

"The family members that arrived called the police and left the location with the children, leaving the shot individual here," said Captain Matt Arnold. "We're determining right now if the altercation happened within the house or maybe in the front yard."

Investigators said they have a suspect they are looking for but haven't made an arrest yet.

Police said they did arrest a man and a woman at the home who refused to stay out of the crime scene area, but officers do not believe either person was the shooter.
